While we do not require you to bring these forms to your initial visit, we do encourage you to print them, fill them out and bring them with you to maximize the time you spend with Dr. Barnett and make your visit as expedient as possible for your convenience.
Dr. Royce Barnett was born in Abilene and raised all over Texas. He grew up living an active life playing baseball, football, golf, and running track. Before back-packing through Colorado across the western United States and taking a hiatus in Hawaii, he studied Art and Anthropology at Texas State University. While in Hawaii, he waited tables, took up surfing, worked on farms, and assisted several artists and small business owners. Soon after returning to the Austin area, he became a husband and father. After several years of working in telecommunications he was inspired, through the work of his chiropractor and mentor, to become a chiropractor himself.
Dr. Barnett graduated from Parker University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in August 2013, receiving bachelor degrees in Anatomy, and Health and Wellness. In August 2012, his last year of clinical training, he opted to practice under the guidance of a prominent chiropractic and rehab specialist in Cedar Hill, Texas. There he was blessed to treat a variety of patients with a multitude of challenges and conditions. Among such cases were collegiate athletes seeking performance optimization, business professionals looking for stress relief, pregnant mothers wanting to ease the biomechanical stresses involved with bearing and birthing, and many times parents who were researching effective alternatives to traditional medicine for their child’s asthma, attention disorders, and certain childhood disabilities. Being a cyclist and cross-fitter himself, Dr. Barnett is always honored to assist the progression of anyone from child athletes and weekend warriors to highly tuned professionals.
